Frequently asked
Does Netwerk change my contacts?
No. It reads your address book and puts its own layer on top. The only thing written back is a contact you create in the app yourself.
Why does it ask for my whole address book?
Because you need to be able to search any name and connect anyone to anyone. On iPhone you can also grant limited access; the app then works with the contacts you share.
Where is my data?
On your device, and — if iCloud is on — in your own private iCloud storage. There is no server. See the privacy policy.
Does it sync between iPhone and Mac?
Yes, through iCloud, as long as both devices use the same Apple Account and iCloud Drive is on. The first sync can take a while.
The summary stays empty
It only appears once you’ve written enough down — with a few loose words a small language model starts guessing, which is worse than nothing. Add a few notes and the line appears by itself. You also need a device with Apple Intelligence; without it the rest of the app works as normal.
Why is someone under “Catch up”?
Because you haven’t spoken for longer than is usual between you two. Netwerk looks at how often you normally speak, per person. The reason is always shown. Speak to them and they leave the list by themselves.
I can’t find someone
Search looks beyond the name: topics, roles, notes, and who introduced you. Contacts with no name, number and email address at all are hidden.
Deleting things
Remove a moment with the menu beside it, and a connection with the minus button next to it. Delete the app and the local database is gone.
